Mark Williams

Mark Williams has had a diverse and extensive career in the restaurant and hospitality industry, beginning in 1995 as a busboy and dishwasher at South Station restaurant, where he worked until 2000. He then transitioned to Sam’s Steakhouse, serving as a waiter and bartender from 2001 to 2003.

In 2004, Mark pursued higher education by studying Spanish for business in Viña del Mar, Chile, graduating in 2006. After college, he returned to the restaurant scene, working at The Capital Grill in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, from 2006 to 2011. During that time, he managed an Italian restaurant called Panarello’s.

In 2012, Mark opened his first restaurant, Mr. Darcy’s Bar and Burger. He also expanded his entrepreneurial ventures by simultaneously opening The Chophouse and purchasing Sam’s Steakhouse both in Ludlow, VT, all while running the Champlain Valley Dinner Train in Burlington, VT, and taking over a dry-cleaning business called Modern Cleaners in Rutland, VT.

With years of experience and expertise in the restaurant business, Mark is now focused on a new project: developing Williams Estate in Clarendon. This venue is set to be a breathtaking wedding destination, where he aims to share his passion in hospitality with the community.

Patrick Norton

Patrick Norton has built an impressive culinary career spanning over 33 years, showcasing his skills and dedication as an executive chef for the past 27 years. Currently, he is the chef and co-owner of Southside Steakhouse and Taco Fresco in Rutland, Vermont, alongside his business partner Mark Williams. Prior to this, he was the chef and owner of Sam’s Steakhouse in Ludlow, Vermont.

Beginning his journey in 1992 at South Station in Rutland, Vermont, Patrick advanced to work at the Equinox in Manchester, where he served as a banquet chef and was promoted to chef de cuisine in 1999. His experience includes executing high-quality food in both restaurant and banquet settings, all while maintaining a humble approach and cooking from the heart.

Patrick takes pride in the food he serves, finding true reward in seeing people enjoy their meals. He is also known for his team-building capabilities, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in preparing and executing food flawlessly. Patrick’s diverse background in catering and banquets further enhances his wealth of experience in the culinary world, making him a respected figure in the industry.

Jenah Bosch

Jenah got her start in the restaurant industry in 2014, when she was simply looking for a part-time evening job to help support her young family. She quickly found herself enjoying the fast pace and personal connections that came with working as a host, server, and bartender in fast-casual restaurants. In 2018, she was offered the chance to join the team at Southside Steakhouse. It was her first time stepping into an upscale dining setting, and it’s where she truly fell in love with hospitality. Over the years, she grew within the restaurant—first as a server and bartender, then moving into a leadership role as Bar and Front of House Manager.In 2023, she stepped into the role of General Manager in which she utilizes her background in administration, marketing & design, and her culinary passion to lead an extraordinary team of hospitality professionals. In 2025, she was honored to be invited by Mark Williams and Patrick Norton to join their partnership as part-owner of Southside.With over a decade in the industry, a deep love for good food and drink, and an outstanding team on her side, Jenah loves the daily challenge of creating a meaningful and excellent dining experience for every guest who she encounters. She believes in the importance of food as a means of connection with family and friends and strives to create a warm and inviting atmosphere with the personal touch that only a locally owned establishment can offer.

Kelly Batchelder

Kelly is an experienced and dedicated professional with over 8 years of management and leadership in the restaurant industry. She has successfully overseen operations at esteemed establishments such as Mr. Darcy’s Bar & Burger in Ludlow, VT, Taco Fresco in Rutland, VT, Modern Cleaners & Tailors in Rutland, VT, and the Champlain Valley Dinner Train in Burlington, VT. Kelly is known for her thoughtful nature, strong work ethic, and her talent for creating handcrafted cocktails. Her diverse experience, approachable nature, and strong communication skills ensure a seamless and effective client experience.
